CRCT Content Weights for 8th Grade Math - 70 questions total
41% Algebra - approximately 29 questions - ALL equations (solving, graphing, tables, word problems, slope, rate of change, x and y intercepts, systems, etc.), functions
27% Geometry - approximately 19 questions - Pythagorean theorem, transformations (translations, dilations, reflections, rotations), volume of cones, cylinders and spheres, special angle pairs, interior/exterior angles of triangles
20% Numbers and Operations - approximately 14 questions - exponents (laws of exponents), scientific notation (multiplying, dividing, adding, subtracting), rational/irrational numbers, square roots (estimating & number line), cube roots (estimating & number line)
12% Data Analysis and Probability - approximately 8 questions - Scatter plots (line of best fit), two-way tables
